I made a blog!

Hi! Welcome to my first proper blog site.

I finally took some time and hosted this Hugo site to use for blogging. Oh it feels good to live up to my own values and own my data and space online. I think it’s kind of the main reason I was never actually consistent with talking about my progress and projects - I just didn’t want to add value to those corporations like twitter and such. But with my own thing it does feel different! And also I just don’t like how everything online became centralized on few major social media platforms. The web full of personal websites and blogs is more my kind of thing. And I don’t like social media and news in general. So yeah, having my own site like this is a must for me!

I’ve actually took some time and archived here all my posts from twitter, marked as 🐓. And I also archived all my Patreon posts too, but those are hidden for now. Speaking of Patreon, at some point I was pretty consistent over there and I still have the page active. But I want to make writing most of the things public, and the Patreon will serve a great function for some people to support financially (which is eternally appreciated!) and get early access to my prototypes and beta builds when I have something to share.

I also have a newsletter where I’ll announce everything new as a notification system. And I’ll use it to share some secrets and special things.

So yeah, that’s the structure now! I feel really good about it. And it feels good to write for my own thing without any worry about an algorithm, likes and such! Just to share when I have something to share.
